Bison Booties Donated to Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare

Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare has received 36 pairs of donated Bison Booties and are very excited about the donations — read all about it on the Inside Gillette blog: http://www.mygillette.org/?p=1966

I feel so very blessed and honored to gift to such amazing children. Thanks to Bison Booties customers throughout the U.S. (even Alaska!) Bison Booties donated 36 pairs of the one-of-a-kind shoes to the children at Gillette. Many thanks to all the generous Bison Booties friends/fans who donated to this special cause - you are the best!

Bison Booties for babies at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare

I feel incredibly fortunate and blessed to have this opportunity to "pay it forward" ...
More than 10 pairs of Bison Booties will be donated to the infants and toddlers at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. My cousins will personally deliver the Bison Booties next week when they are at the hospital for their daughter's appointment:
"The kids in the ortho recovery area are in body casts for so long — Bison Booties are awesome to wear during this time! Bison Booties have been so great for our daughter, and the nurses even mentioned how ideal they are for kids in the hospital."

If you would like to donate a pair of Bison Booties to a child at Gillette, purchase a pair from the Bison Booties Etsy shop and make a note for the pair to be sent to a child at Gillette's (please make purchase by Sunday, May 5): http://www.etsy.com/shop/BisonBooties
* I will refund 100% of your shipping charge on donation purchases for Gillette *

. . .

Update: as of 3 pm on Wednesday, May 1 ...
Thanks to very generous donations, my initial donation of 11 pairs of Bison Booties is now 100% matched by Bison Booties fans - over 22 pairs (and counting) will be donated to the infants and toddlers at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, MN.

Bison Booties in AAA Living Magazine

Check out Bison Booties in the January/February 2012 AAA Living Magazine (North Dakota edition).

"Erica Hager's motivation for creating Bison Booties was simple—keeping booties on her very active baby daughter. Despite the name, no bison are used in the Mandan mom's creation—just designer fabric and faux suede. Her handmade booties recently caught the attention of Martha Stewart, becoming the only finalist from North Dakota in her American Made entrepreneur's contest."

welcome

{hello and welcome to the many new Bison Booties fans and friends!}

I am Erica, known around here as the 'Bison Booties lady.' I'd like to introduce myself and extend my thanks to you for being a Bison Booties fan.

about Bison Booties:
Bison Booties are mom-designed (by me) to stay on even the kickiest baby feet. The cotton soft-sole booties have gentle fabric-wrapped elastic around the ankle, so they're easy to put on but difficult to kick off. Babies love cuddling their toes into the sherpa fleece insole and moms appreciate that Bison Booties are machine washable.

Each pair of Bison Booties is lovingly handcrafted in North Dakota, USA. Bison Booties are made with designer fabrics and are available in many styles for boys and girls, and sizes from newborn to toddler.
