Friday foot fact ...

Approximately one out of 2,500 newborns has webbed/connected toes (or fingers), known as syndactyly. Many babies with syndactyly have no other differences in their bodies and no health problems. Joined toes rarely need treatment because they rarely cause any problems with a child’s function.
