Friday foot fact ...
Approximately one out
of 2,500 newborns has webbed/connected toes (or fingers), known as
syndactyly. Many babies with syndactyly have no other differences in
their bodies and no health problems. Joined toes rarely need treatment
because they rarely cause any problems with a child’s function.
